CHEESECAKE; A Success

THE WORLD IS MY CHEESECAKE, a 2-week run of 7 of my short plays covering the themes of Memory, Loss, Memory Loss, Love, Fate, Death & Marriage, concluded a very successful run at the WorkShop's Jewel Box space on September 17th. This was a joint production between fandango 4 productions and Mind The Gap Theatre Company. Due to the shortness of our run, aside from 1 postive blog review, we were unable to get any reviewers in. However, the audience feedback was truly wonderful. Many sighted this evening as the best evening of one-acts they'd seen, with an array of styles and tones, at once funny, absurd, poignant and thought-provoking. We had a stellar cast of 12, who were directed by Paula D'Alessandris, Stephanie Staes and myself, all culminating in a truly fabulous run.

Thanks so very much to those who came out to support this special show, which had been in the planning stage for the better part of the year. I could not have been more pleased with the results of our work, particularly our cast, crew, and my fellow producers Paula D'Alessandris & Judy Alvarez.

We look to possibly have another (and slightly longer) life for this wonderful production, but for now, it is, as they say,...on to the next thing, whatever that may be.

Thanks, as always!
