I'm thrilled to report that LAUGHTER ON THE 23RD FLOOR, which I'd been performing in since May, closed its extremely successful and largely sold-out run at the Schoolhouse Theater in Croton Falls, NY this past week. A lovely quote from the Bedford Record Review said "...the Schoolhouse has rolled out a roster of its A-list players into an ensemble of characters so in tune with each other and their material as to raise this show in a symphony of laughter".
May also saw 2 very successful concert readings of my play THE DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE OF PRIVATE PITTS, which will be presented on the WorkShop's Mainstage in 2012/2013 season.
Not sure what the rest of June or July will bring, but let's see. In the meantime, we're beginning pre-production talks for the September production of THE WORLD IS MY CHEESECAKE, which will be produced at the WorkShop's Jewel Box Theater for a 2-week/10-show run, produced by Mind The Gap Theatre Company and fandango 4 productions.
